Kivo allows for virtual inspections using the "Inspector" user account role.

The Inspector user role allows the sponsors to restrict access for certain documents and data that must not be shared with the Inspector.

Inspector users can perform the following actions in Kivo:

  • View approved documents (with approval date listed in version table instead of status)

  • View empty placeholders (including expected dates and user assignment)

  • View excluded placeholders

  • View audit trails

  • View metadata

  • Preview documents in Accusoft

  • Access the eCTD Viewer, if given eCTD viewing permissions

Inspector users cannot perform the following actions in Kivo:

  • See empty folders in a cabinet, or folders that only contain draft documents

  • See documents without approved versions

  • View any report other than audit trails

  • Upload, edit, modify, or approve documents

  • Download and print documents and audit trails

  • See or access the Submission Builder
