Overview

This article explains how to create quizzes, add questions, and configure quiz settings. Quizzes help reinforce learning, assess understanding, and ensure users retain key information from assigned content.Quizzes allow admins and managers to create structured assessments tied to learning content.

You would interact with this feature when you want to:

  • Test learner comprehension

  • Reinforce important concepts

  • Track quiz completion and performance

Key capabilities include:

  • Creating quizzes with multiple question types

  • Assigning quizzes to users or groups

  • Configuring scoring and completion requirements


Creating a Quiz

Step 1 โ€“ Navigate to the Course and Add Quiz

  1. From the main navigation, hover over Training and select Course Builder

  2. Click Open on the course of your choice.

  3. Select Quiz in the upper menuSelect Quiz in the uppoer M


Step 2 โ€“ Define the Settings

  1. Required Pass Percentage
    Kivo automatically calculates how many questions must be answered correctly based on the total number of questions in the quiz.

  2. Retake Attempts Before Retraining
    If a trainee fails the quiz, this setting controls how many attempts they are allowed before they are required to retake the course.


Step 3 โ€“ Add Questions

  1. Click Add Question.

  2. Draft the Qustion

  3. Draft the answers

  4. Mark the correct answer(s).

Kivo Quizzes let you create as many questions and answer options as needed to support your training goals.

When a question has multiple correct answers, trainees are prompted to select all answers that apply when completing the quiz.


Step 4 โ€“ Publish the Course

  1. Select Publish Course

  2. Define Course settings

    1. New content only

    2. Due Date

    3. Insturctions

    4. Unenroll Users from previous versions

  3. Select Publish and Enroll
