Required Roles: Workspace Manager, or Product Module Manager for the relevant module

Required Permissions: Manager mode access for the module

Folder settings — including details, tags, and the assigned workflow — can be updated at any time from Manager mode. These settings control how documents inside the folder are organized, classified, and routed for review and approval.

Overview

From a folder's edit view you can:

  • Update the folder name and description

  • Add or remove tags (including template tags that link the folder to a template)

  • Change the assigned workflow and adjust workflow settings such as bypass on upload and manual version override

How to Edit a Folder

  1. Enter Manager mode and open the folder.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Update Details, Tags, or Workflow as needed.

  4. Click Save.

Note: Most folder settings cascade to subfolders. A few — such as Use Folder Documents as Templates — do not inherit and must be enabled per folder.
