Creating a Document Alias allows you to author a document in one location and have it linked/referenced in other cabinets or folders. A great use case is authoring a protocol in the regulatory cabinet and displaying it in the eTMF cabinet.

Step 1. Click on the menu icon on the right corner and select "Alias Document" option. In the example below, "16.1.8 Audit Certificate-KV531" in the Regulatory cabinet and Clinical folders is selected.

Step 2. A pop-up message (toast) will appear, confirming the file or document to link/reference chosen as an Alias document.

Step 3. Go the Cabinet, Folder or section to place the alias. In the example below, "16.1.8 Audit Certificates-KV531" will be referenced in eTMF Cabinet>KV-002 - PIII Trial>01. Trial Level>01. Trial Management>01.01 Trial Oversight>01.01.14 Audit Certificate.

a) Clikc the vertical ellipses to see options.
b) Click Create Alias for ...

Step 3. Choose the appropriate version of the alias document that you wish to link, and click on Alias document button to confirm the action.
