Related Content links Controlled Documents to a quality activity. In addition, Forms may be created via Generate Content and populated with values from the Quality Activity record. Forms are configured per workspace and are typically defined during implementation.
Overview
Step 1. Navigate to an Activity. In the example below, hover over Quality Activity, navigate to Deviations from the Quality Activity List page. DEV-0001 is chosen from the list.
Step 2. Scroll to the bottom of the record to the Related Content pane.
Controlled Documents
Step 1 . Click “+ Add to Cabinet” button. Select the Cabinet and Template from the drop-down menus. This will create a folder and/or link the record to the appropriate folder in the cabinet.
NOTE: Templates are created to align to your process, so the options available in your workspace may not match the included screenshot.
Step 2. On the Related Content tab at the bottom, a link to the folder is created in the Controlled Documents (DMS) in the previous step. Click on the drop-down arrow to view documents.
Generate Forms
Step 1. On the activity record. If applicable, click + Generate Document button to start a new activity form or document from a template. If the Generate Document link is gray, a template is not linked to the vendor or activity subtype. Forms are configured per customer. Contact [email protected] if you have questions.
Step 2. Select a template and folder, click Create Document.
Step 3. On the Related Content tab at the bottom, a link to the folder is created in the Controlled Documents (DMS) in the previous step. Click on links to view the documents.
