Pre-configured (out-of-the-box) Vendor reports in Kivo give a complete view of all vendor-related information. Vendor files and metadata are stored in the Quality module under Vendors > Vendor List. These reports help users quickly understand the organization’s full vendor landscape and filter details as needed.

Covered in this article:

  • Use Cases: Examples on how to utilize the report.

  • Filters: Use to create specific subsets of data in the report.

  • Columns: Use to sort data in the report.

Use Cases

  • Create a comprehensive vendor list as well as lists organized by the filters (e.g. Certifications, Skills, Regions, Vendor Type, etc.)

  • Prepare and deliver standard reports to C-level or line managers on approved vendor lists.

  • Understand gaps in vendor skill sets and proactively fill them for future project work.

Filters

Filters are used to narrow down the data. Filters used in the reports can also be configured. Filters used in the example below include: Certificate, Audit Date, Vendor Type, and Status.

a) Certificate

The names of the certificates are organization configured. Certificates represent any type of official documentation attesting to a certain set of conditions. In the example below the following certifications are shown: ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and SOC2.

b) Audit Date

Audit date reflects the date a vendor was audited. Date field includes the options below.

c) Vendor Type

Vendor Type is an organization configured attribute. The type is a label given to a vendor to describe its role in the organization. In the example below, types include consultants, laboratories and manufacturers.

d) Status

Status is an organization configured workflow step. In the examples used in this article, it refers to the vendor audit status.

Columns

Data and information in the columns may be sorted to provide a different view. Clicking on the column title will sort the items ascending or descending.

In the example below, columns include Name, Certificates, Status, Vendor Type and Audit Date.

Name: Refers to the title of the vendor. In the example below, a pre-fix naming convention has been applied.

Certificates, Status, Vendor Type and Audit Date are defined above.

In the example below, the vendors are sorted by the Status column.
