The 2025.Q4.3 release includes three feature updates, as well as usability improvements and small bug fixes.
Trial Activities
A new activity type is now available in the Clinical module: Trial Activities. These activities can be used to track trial-related events such as Protocol Amendments, Trial Level audits, IRB submissions, etc. Trial Activities can also be configured with Kivo folder templates to help your team manage work stemming from these activities.
Locked Folders
A Workspace Manager can now "lock" a folder or cabinet. Locking a folder will lock all the underlying documents, as well as disable new document and folder creation in that folder. It can be used to prevent updates in closed trials, and can be found by selecting "Edit Folder" while in workspace manager mode. Note that a folder cannot be locked if it contains any draft documents, open placeholders, or document aliases.
Editing Due Dates on Workflows
An eligible user can now extend or otherwise edit due dates on a workflow step, as those dates change. This can be found by selecting "Change Due Date" in the action menu of a workflow step. Editing a due date will change the due date on a user's calendar, to help team members manage their upcoming work.
