Creating a New Folder

Add a new folder inside a cabinet or parent folder from Manager mode.

Required Roles: Workspace Manager, or Product Module Manager for the relevant module

Required Permissions: Manager mode access for the module

Workspace Managers and Product Module Managers can add new folders inside any cabinet or parent folder in their assigned modules. New folders inherit settings and permissions from their parent.


How to Create a Folder

  1. Enter Manager mode and navigate to the cabinet or parent folder where the new folder should live.

  2. Click the + icon.

  3. Select New Folder.

  4. Enter a name and any required details.

  5. Click Save.

The new folder appears immediately and inherits the workflow, permissions, and most settings of its parent. You can adjust folder-specific settings by opening the folder and clicking Edit.
