The 2026.Q2.4 release includes three new enhancements:
Linking Activities to Submissions
Users with edit access to an activity can now link that activity to an existing submission directly from the activity page. A new "Submissions" tab in the activity's Related Content panel displays linked submissions. To create a link, users click the new "Link to Submission" button and select the relevant submission and sequence from a search modal.
Enablement Impact: No impact.
Available to all organizations with no additional configuration required.
Automated Training Enrollment
Training managers can now designate a training course as "automated." When a document included in an automated course is approved, Kivo automatically creates a new course version and enrolls all users in the course's Required Groups the following day (course updates are checked nightly), using the course's default Days to Complete.
Note that automated training courses do not support quizzes — the Add Quiz option is disabled on any automated course, and enabling automation on a course with an existing quiz will remove that quiz.
Note: automated courses may increase training volume for users if the underlying documents are updated asynchronously.
Enablement Impact: Requires enablement by training managers. No behavior impact to end users.
Training managers can enable automation via the toggle in the Create Course or Edit Course modals.
Workspace Management Audit Trail
Workspace managers can now view the audit trail of changes made within Workspace Settings on the "Audits" tab on the Workspace Settings page.
Enablement Impact: No impact. Accessible to workspace managers only.
