2026.Q3.1 Release

The 2026.Q3.1 release does not include any end-user facing feature enhancements. There is one manager-facing feature requirement, outlined below. To support enablement of this change, this feature has been feature flagged - it will be off by default upon release.

Manager Ability to Update Document Controls on Approved Documents

Organizations will now have the option to allow managers (workspace manager/product module manager) to update key document fields — including control number, effective date, and review-by date — on approved documents. This is designed for administrative corrections or to update an effective date or review-by date for special circumstances (for example, an extension while someone is out of office). Updates to these fields can only be made in Manager Mode and require a reason for change, which is captured on the document’s audit trail.

Enablement Impact: This feature has no impact on end users. It is feature flagged and off by default - to enable, please reach out to Kivo. It could require updates to work instructions for Kivo workspace managers prior to enablement.

Once enabled, your organization can configure this functionality in Workspace Settings by updating “Reasons for Change” to include Control Number and Version Label Date changes.
