The 2026.Q2.5 release will include one new enabled feature enhancement. A full list of those requirements can be found below.

DMS Table View

Kivo's DMS will now include a Table View option — a new interface to browse documents within the DMS. Table View is designed to complement the existing Folder View: nothing about your current DMS navigation changes. You can toggle seamlessly between Folder View and Table View at any time, and all existing folder structures and navigation remain exactly as is today.

Folder View:

Table View:

Table View is a UI-only enhancement – it introduces no new functionality, but provides an easier way to surface documents that are related by metadata or other attributes and take actions on those document. All access in Table View is governed by your organization's existing roles and permissions — users will only see and interact with the documents they are already authorized to access.

The new view includes the following capabilities:

Configurable columns and filters. Table View opens with default columns and a built-in filter bar. Users can add additional columns and filters — such as Document Owner, Effective Date, Workflow Status, and any configured metadata fields — to tailor the view. Filters for drafts and placeholders are also available as quick-access options.

Related content filtering. Users can filter the table by related records — including documents, activities, submissions, and projects — to quickly surface documents linked to a specific item.

Bulk actions. The same bulk actions available today — including Move, Lock, Unlock, Set Metadata, and Delete (for drafts), and Relate To — are also accessible in Table View. Selecting one or more documents reveals an Actions menu. The menu will only be available to user roles who can take bulk actions today.

Bulk placeholder actions. Users can now select one or more placeholders in Table View (and in Folder View bulk actions) and apply bulk actions: Exclude Placeholder and Set Content Expected Date. This allows for faster updating of placeholders. Reason for exclusion will be required if configured.

Saved views. Users can save a Table View configuration — including columns, filters, the current folder path and applied filter values — as a named view for quick access. Saved views appear in the home navigation and can be updated or deleted at any time. Each saved view is personal to the user who created it.

Sharing. A Table View can be shared with teammates via a link. Shared links do not grant any additional access — if a recipient does not have permission to view the folder, they will see an appropriate message.

Enablement Impact: No impact. Available to all organizations. No additional configuration is required.
